Couples & Marriage Counselling

Navigating the challenges of relationships is no easy feat.

“My role is to help and support you address areas within your relationship that are preventing you and your partner from sustaining a deep, enjoyable connection filled with love, unity and understanding.” Zoe

These areas may include:

  • Improving communication and connection
  • Intimacy and affection
  • Conflict management
  • Parenting
  • Juggling financial stressors
  • Digital Distractions
  • Recovery from Infidelity & Affairs
  • Amicable separation and co-parenting

Often the fundamental reasons for relationship breakdowns are rooted in communication.

Therefore, one of the most important roles I play is not only that of a mediator but that of a translator, supporting and helping you to improve the communication within your relationship and to build a bridge for understanding and connection.

Animal-Assisted Therapy

Animal-Assisted Therapy

Animal-assisted therapy is a complementary treatment that can be used in conjunction with other evidence-based therapies and involves having an animal present in the therapy room.

There are many benefits to animal assisted therapy within a counselling setting including:

  • Animals can help to improve motivation and engagement in therapy
  • Animals can provide a sense of security and emotional support
  • Animals can promote relaxation
  • Animals can support learning, self-confidence and self-esteem
  • Animals can offer humour and fun due to playful natures

Is Animal-Assisted Therapy Right for me?

Whilst our therapy dog is hypo-allogenic, Animal-Assisted Therapy is not for everyone and that’s absolutely understandable. If this is the case for you, please make sure to let our team know so that we can ensure our therapy dog will not interact with you.
